It is said that there are about sixty-four Kulams for the Kongus. As we all know that persons belonging to the same Kulams are considered to be Pangalis and hence brothers and sisters. Marriage among Pangalis is strictly prohibited in the community. Each Kulam takes pride in its own Kulam and there are legends for each of the Kulam. It is our intention to bring out what is known about each Kulam. We invite stories concerning different Kulams. |
